Usage

What you may do

You may browse public pages, share links, and follow Join LILA off this site in good faith. You may use the site only for lawful purposes, in a way that does not harm LILA, Orpheus, LUISS, other users, or the infrastructure.

By using the site you accept these rules, our Privacy policy, and the ordinary laws that apply in Italy, Bulgaria, and the EU. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

Personal data

This website does not host forms that collect personal data. It does not process names, emails, or other membership or event-registration information. Join LILA takes you off this origin. Do not try to submit other people's data here — there is no such facility.

What you must not do

Without prior written authorisation from Orpheus you must not, and must not attempt to:

• Access accounts, data, servers, APIs, or admin tools that are not yours.
• Probe, scan, or test the site for vulnerabilities except through the disclosure channel below.
• Exploit a bug, inject code, upload malware, or interfere with other people's use of the site.
• Overwhelm the service (denial of service, flooding, credential stuffing, brute force, or similar).
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract personal data or content beyond ordinary browser use and good-faith indexing.
• Circumvent security, rate limits, authentication, or access controls — including those of related systems.
• Impersonate LILA, Orpheus, LUISS, or another person, or send phishing or other deceptive messages that invoke this site.
• Use the site to commit, plan, or conceal any other offence.

These prohibitions apply to the public site, staging copies, APIs, forms, and any related infrastructure you can reach because of this project. Curiosity is not a licence. “I wanted to see if it would work” is not a defence.

If you find a vulnerability

Tell us. Do not use it, do not share it publicly, and do not take a copy of other people's data to prove your point.

Report in good faith to security@orpheus.bg or gotcha@orpheus.bg. Include enough detail for us to reproduce the issue, and your contact details if you want a reply.

• Give Orpheus a reasonable time to fix the issue before any public discussion — at least 90 days, or longer if we ask because the fix is still in progress.
• Do not access, modify, or delete data that is not yours. A proof of concept must be the minimum needed to show the bug.
• Do not disrupt the service or threaten users as part of a report.

Good-faith reports through these addresses will be treated as responsible disclosure. We do not run a public bug-bounty programme unless we say so in writing. A report does not create a right to compensation, credit, or continued access.

Legal consequences

Unauthorised access to a computer system, damage to data or programs, interception of communications, and related conduct are criminal offences under Italian law (including Articles 615-ter, 615-quater, 615-quinquies, 617-quater, 635-bis and following of the Italian Criminal Code), under Bulgarian criminal law, and under the laws of other countries where you or the servers are located. Civil liability for damages, injunctions, and recovery of costs may follow even where a prosecutor does not charge a crime.

LILA and Orpheus will preserve logs, cooperate with LUISS where relevant, and report incidents to the competent authorities. We may suspend access, delete abusive submissions, and refuse further use of the site.

Nothing in these rules limits any right that cannot be waived by law, including mandatory consumer protections where they apply.

Content and intellectual property

Text, design, code, and marks on this site belong to LILA, Orpheus, or their licensors. You may not copy the site, frame it, or reuse its distinctive design or code except as allowed by law (for example a short quotation with credit, or rights in your own submission).

If you send us copy, photos, or other material, you grant LILA a non-exclusive licence to use it for association purposes (including this site and event documentation), unless we agree otherwise in writing.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” Events, times, and membership details can change. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LILA and Orpheus disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, neither LILA nor Orpheus is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunity, arising from your use of the site or from events organised by the association, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise — even if advised of the possibility.

Nothing in these rules excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under Italian, Bulgarian, or EU law.

Governing law

Association membership, events in Rome, and LILA's role as data controller are governed by the laws of Italy, and disputes may be brought before the courts of Rome, without prejudice to any mandatory forum that protects you.

The provision, security, and acceptable use of this website as a service of Orpheus are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, and Orpheus may pursue unauthorised access and related claims where the harm occurs or where it is established.

We may update these rules when the site or the law changes. The date at the top is the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated rules.
